Because Master James Dutton was the #1 overall APMA fighter Master Jason Dutton called his brother out at the Elite Karate Studios Christmas Party. To make sure there was no impartiality they both agreed to have their younger brother Instructor Mr. Shane Dutton judge. James won the first round with the second round going to Jason. At the final buzzer Jason rocked James with a heavy right hand however the smiles was all James as that point was not enough to overcome the 3 point deficit Jason had. So the question everyone had asked about who would win between the two has finally been answered … at least for now!

Cody Roper & Matthew Roper take Green Bay by storm!  Mr. Cody Roper won both Pankration (MMA) matches at the Harris Karate Silver Cup Tournament of Champions!  Mr. Roper who was down in points used an armbar to end his first round just seconds before the time limit expired.  He then used the famous Kimora in his second round to end that match with a submission as well!  Mr. Roper is now #1 in his age division for the APMA circuit!  Matthew Roper also won his first MMA match ever with a textbook perfect armbar!  Matthew who only had 2 classes to train before the match did absolutely fantastic and utilized his minimal training to maximum effect!  Awesome job you two!



The results are final!!  Cody Roper is the #1 rated Black Belt sparring champion and #1 Pankration fighter for his age group for the entire 2009 APMA season!  From all of us at Elite Karate Studios we are unbelievably proud of you Cody!!  Congratulations!!
